About Me

My journey began as a child, always finding myself hesitant or even disappointed after meeting Santa. Some were friendly while others i felt a bit reluctant to even talk to me much less hear what i wanted for christmas. Since then throughout the years my only goal was simply "to be the santa i wanted as a child"!!!

I have always loved Christmas (who doesn't) and the year 2000 began the best Christmas I could have ever imagined. Although we were already blessed with 2 wonderful sons, we wanted another child. After a struggle with infertility we decided to just be grateful for the amazing family we already had. To our surprise on Christmas Eve, after my wife's intuition we discovered that she was indeed pregnant. Imagine everyone's excitement and joy when we announced on Christmas Day that we were adding to our family!!! Our family was now perfectly completed cementing Christmas as my favorite holiday and time of year. Flash forward 23 years later I read a story of a Santa Claus who was visiting a child who sadly was terminal. The child simply wanted a hug from Santa and as he hugged him the child looked into Santa's eyes, smiled and heartbreakingly passed away. My eyes were filled with tears and I desperately searched for this Santa. I just had to know everything about him. As luck would find it I actually located him and called him personally. We talked for a good hour or so. He warned me how emotionally devastating this was on him and his heart. We both were crying as he re-lived his journey. I finally mustered up a simple question. Was the hug and smile from that child worth it? He replied without hesitation absolutely! I asked him for any advice on becoming Santa and he gave me all the information I needed to begin my own journey as Santa Claus!!!
